John Chonka was retained by restaurateur Joe Johnston to transform the existing grocery market originally constructed in 1939 into a new urban restaurant featuring bistro type food, imported beers, wine and espresso based drinks. The original market was utilized for its old flavor as market, service and dining area while a new contemporary structure was designed to accommodate the new kitchen, restrooms and second level apartment.
